Celebrations helps you create invites, track RSVPs, and coordinate gifts for your events. We respect your privacy and only collect the data needed to provide the service. We do not sell your personal information.
What we collect from hosts
- Account information: name, email, and password.
- Event content: titles, descriptions, dates, locations, images, and settings.
- Customisations: colours, fonts, backgrounds, and styling choices.
- Gift lists: item names, descriptions, links, and prices you add.
What we collect from guests
- RSVP responses: name, attendance status, plus-ones, and any messages you leave.
- Email (optional): only if you provide it, used to recognise you on return visits.
- Gift reservations: which items you reserved.
How we use your data
- To provide the service: save your events, record RSVPs, and manage gift reservations.
- To improve the product: we use anonymised analytics to understand how people use Celebrations.
- To communicate: send transactional emails (confirmations, updates) when relevant.
Your rights
- Access your data and request a copy.
- Correct inaccurate information in your account.
- Delete your account and data at any time.
- Contact us with any privacy questions or concerns.
Third-party services
We use trusted third-party services for hosting, security, and analytics. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies. We do not share your personal data with advertisers or sell it to anyone.
Data retention
Your data is kept as long as your account is active. When you delete an event, all associated data (RSVPs, gift reservations, and settings) is permanently removed. When you delete your account, all your data is deleted, including all events and their associated data.
